The picture below is an example of of a vehicle severely damaged by a car detailer.This is most times the cost of a cheap car detail. The
customer left her vehicle purposely for months in a filthy state just to hide the damage before bringing the vehicle to us to have paint
correction carried out in order to restore it's surfaces
In fact the car detailer responsible for the damage on this vehicle near destroyed the entire paint job by using inferior car detailing
products which were extremely harsh in nature and designed to save time. Save time they may. Saving your paint finish they won't. What is
even more ridiculous is that the compounds used on this vehicle were hand applied. So much for hand applications.
I really don't know any customers who want to pay to have their vehicle finish damaged but, as we said, what you pay for is what you get.

PRODUCT TESTING
Here' something new. We thought we would test an old compound we found lying around in the workshop on one of our own cars. Kitten polish
with Teflon. About 10 months ago I applied Kitten polish which contained Teflon. Containing Teflon you don't really need to wax. Basically it's a
man made protection barrier on it's own.
In this case the vehicle was not waxed, just so that we could test the longevity of this product. Not only that but you can't apply wax on top of
Teflon anyway. Teflon is a very slippery product. The protection lasted about 8 months. Not bad for an off the shelf affordable polish. Anybody out
there would know that Kitten has been around before many of us were even born.A very well established family household name when it comes to
car detailing products.
In the example above we used Kitten liquid cut and polish. Not the Teflon based product. We are not trying to promote products here but merely
to try and explain that you don't have to spend big dollars on car detailing compounds just to get a nice shine. This was carried out on solid two
pack somewhat faded white, followed by a Meguiars pass of yellow wax. Believe me these photos don't do this result justice.
Remember, waxing always has to be carried out after using liquid cut and polish. Very nice results indeed. It was also tested under different
shades of light hence the different colour photos. It all goes back to what was said before. You only need to know the right methods. If you are
going to pay a coffee car wash or mobile detailer who promises the earth for $100.00 to give your car "SWIRL MARKS" when all your after is a
shine, then you can do this yourself.

7.5 hours of time do not cost 150.00 dollars. If your interior requires serious attention, and is going to consume an entire day, it can and will
cost anything up to and above 350.00 dollars. The cost of this interior restoration was a total of 420.00 dollars. Serious time consumption
requires serious outlay. The interior in this vehicle was better than new when completed. A smile from ear to ear on this customer's face says
